Is counselling for you?
If you’re visiting my website then there are most likely things that are troubling you. The fact that you’re exploring support is so positive, too many people suffer alone and in silence.
During training I experienced sitting on the other side of the chair; I remember very well how daunting it felt to seek counselling, to place my trust in another.
I also hold dearly the valuable insight that I gained and the life changes it subsequently enabled me to make.
Things may have felt the same for a long time but that doesn’t mean that they have to continue to do so.
Counselling can help with:
- Health and well-being
- Improving self care
- Loss of confidence or self esteem
- Lack of motivation
- Medical diagnosis
- The impact of Covid 19
- Family illness
- Miscarriage
- Abortion
- Adjusting to becoming a new parent/ parenthood in general
- Family conflict
- Relationship difficulties
- Work related stress
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Loss or bereavement including the loss of a pet
- Sexuality
- Going through the Menopause
- Anything that is troubling you
